Educational Information Only

All content on CompelKit β€” including calculators, articles, FAQ answers, screenshots, charts, and code snippets β€” is provided strictly for general informational and educational purposes. None of the material on this Site constitutes financial, tax, accounting, actuarial, investment, lending, legal, building-code, medical, or other professional advice of any kind, and should not be relied upon as such. You alone bear responsibility for any decisions you make based on the Site's content.

Not Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

Our finance calculators (mortgage, retirement, compound interest, loan payoff, freelance tax, property tax, sales tax, hourly-to-salary, and budget tools) provide estimates only, based on widely documented formulas and the assumptions you enter. The figures shown do not account for your individual credit profile, your complete tax situation, deductions or credits you may be eligible for, state and local tax rules, or your lender's specific underwriting standards. Consult a licensed CPA, financial advisor, tax attorney, or loan officer before acting on any number a CompelKit calculator produces.

Not Construction, Engineering, or Building-Code Advice

Our construction calculators (drywall, brick, gravel, lumber, decking, framing, tile, and square-footage tools) return material estimates based on standard dimensional formulas. They do not account for local building codes, structural loads, span requirements, fastener schedules, or specifications called out in your project plans. Always cross-check material counts against your project plans, your product specifications, and your local building department's requirements before purchasing or beginning construction.

Not Medical or Nutritional Advice

Our calorie, TDEE, and macro tools use established formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict) and the activity multipliers commonly used in fitness planning. They are general guidance for educational use only and are not a substitute for advice from a registered dietitian, physician, or other qualified health professional β€” particularly if you are managing a medical condition, pregnancy, eating disorder, or athletic training program.

Calculator Accuracy & Methodology

We build every tool using publicly documented formulas (standard amortization, BLS-published tax brackets, Mifflin-St Jeor for metabolic rate, board-foot (T Γ— W Γ— L Γ· 12) for lumber, etc.) and review them on a regular cadence. We publish our review dates and methodology on each calculator's ToolGuide section. Even so, your results depend on the inputs you provide and may be affected by rounding, jurisdiction-specific rules, or formula variants used by your lender, broker, tax preparer, or supplier that differ from CompelKit's assumptions. You are ultimately responsible for verifying any result against an authoritative source.

No Warranty of Results

CompelKit makes no representation or warranty that any calculation, projection, or article on this Site is accurate, complete, current, applicable, or that following any guidance will produce any particular outcome. All users agree to use the Site at their own risk.

External Links & Third-Party Citations

CompelKit cites authoritative sources (such as the IRS, CFPB, BLS, HUD, and state-level tax authorities) at the foot of qualifying guides. We are not responsible for, and do not endorse, the content, accuracy, or practices of any external site we link to. Links are provided as a courtesy and do not imply endorsement.

Content Updates & Currency

Federal tax brackets, mortgage market rates, building code requirements, ground-improvement practices, and other underlying data change frequently. CompelKit makes reasonable efforts to keep content current but cannot guarantee that any guide reflects the very latest rule changes within hours of publication. Each article and calculator displays its "Last reviewed" date so you can judge its currency yourself. See ourEditorial Policy for our review cadence.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CompelKit and its operators disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages β€” including financial loss resulting from decisions based on calculator output β€” arising from your use of or reliance on the Site. See ourTerms of Service for additional terms governing use.
